Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows including Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. Following appearances in several teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he was noticed for his performance of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and its sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans is also seen in films that are based off comics such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). In numerous Marvel Cinematic Universe film, including Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) as well as in the group films like The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War Infinity War(2018) in addition to Endgame (2009) and Endgame (2009). His performance as Steve Rogers/Captain American has earned him much more attention. The Marvel films have made him one of Hollywood's most well-paid actors.
