Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. Her work has been in the margins of popular and traditional music since she was a teenager, she also delves into other styles like hip-hop soul and trap. Her voice is described by no less talented than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, however with a bit of bite similar to older versions. El Mal Querer, her follow-up album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical and commercial hit. It topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and received an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her third studio album. She worked with numerous producers and artists including Cory Henry. It was released in 2022 as a result of a Saturday Night Live appearance by the singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to appear in a solo performance on the show. In addition to winning three more Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia, she also became the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
